Not a care in the world....

I think I could watch Joe sleep all day long...well, if he would! No, I wouldn't want him to...he just looks so relaxed and peaceful. I don't have many action shots yet, but I'm sure that will change soon. As I'm looking at his bedding, it looks girly in the picture, but I promise there are more polka dots and stripes than paisley. We tried to go neutral so if a girl comes along some day, we would be able to use the same bedding. Look at that angelic face!

Thanks Big Wolfe!

One of these days I'll be big enough to swing this and break some of mommy's things.
Thanks Jeremy...that is such an adorable little bat! I think with all the new little boys, we probably have a little league team already :)

Marmee's here!

Marmee was here last week and we had a lot of fun. Joe went on lots of walks with Marmee and even went shopping with her. Thanks to Marmee, mom and dad went on a date Friday night. I sure will miss her, but will get to see her again in September!

Even though I was born in Texas, I'm still a Razorback at heart. Some even say I've already starting calling the hogs with my snorting.

I don't think George quite knows what to do with the new little one in the house, but he has definitely become more protective since Joe has arrived. He even gives him kisses on his balding little head.

More pics...

Here are a few pictures of Joe from this week. We are actually seeing more of his bright blue eyes as he is having more awake time.

Aunt Genelle and Joe

Aunt Hilary & Joe

Joe had some very important visitors on Thursday. Aunt Hilary, Tia Maria-Paula and Aunt Genelle made the visit to Midlothian. Joe was a good little boy and didn't even cry when his Aunt Hilary held him. He had a good time and mommy had an even better time catching up on what's new at work.

Wow, what a week!

Joe had a good time with his cousin Peanut.

Joe spent time with his cousins. Grandpa and Grammy Gauw were proud as peacocks to have all their grandkids visit them this past weekend.

Joe met many people this week including his Aunt Heidi and Aunt Whitney. Although he doesn't look happy in this picture, he was quite content in their arms.

Joe met his future playmate, Wil Wheat at his Sip and See. Thanks Marmee for showing me off...I had a great time!

Uncle Jay is a natural. Joe spent lots of time with him this week and only spit up on him once.
