I've been tagged (by Whitney...sorry it took so long, i'm not very interesting :)), which means I have to share 7 unknown facts about myself to you....here it goes...
1. i love potatoes--ok, i know, if you know me...you know that interesting little fact already--but what you may not know is during the 1st 4 months of my pregnancy, that is ALL i could eat. The best was french fries with cheese, bacon bits and ranch dressing (especially Snuffer's cheese fries!)
2. i want lots of kids! always have, always will! Jeff and i don't see eye-to-eye on that, so i'll be happy if we have 2 kids...then they can bring all their friends over so we can have a full house
3. i love buying gifts for people! i've prayed to win the lottery so i could buy lots of gifts, but since i hardly ever buy lottery tickets, that may not come to fruition
4. i love kids. there are so many kiddos that i work with that i want to take home with me! how can parents not take care of their kids? i don't understand that
5. i decide who i'm going to vote on by whether or not they are pro-life....that is the only factor! Life is the most precious thing and if they fight for unborn children, they have my vote. A candidate may have the best answers for all the world's problems, but i will not support them with my vote unless they are pro-life
6. i want to teach my child(ren) to respect everyone. no matter their race, disability, religion or political party. one night i was watching the National's play their 1st game in their new stadium in D.C. President Bush was walking out to the mound to throw the 1st pitch, and you could hear the boos from the crowd on TV! I was appalled! That is when I decided, no matter what...you respect the people in office...only in the US could you boo your president and not have severe consequences...anywhere else in the world, you may lose a body part or your life! i think that many American young people these days have no respect for other people or their property...and i intend to teach my child(ren) that!
7. i work with and am friends with the daughter-in-law of one the authors of Same Kind of Different as Me. I've met both authors, Ron & Denver. They are currently talking to the writer from Pursuit of Happiness to make the book a movie....and I've put a request in to be a homeless person in the movie (it won't happen, but I told Megan I was interested :))
Hope you enjoyed, some facts became soap boxes...but when you are with a kid all day, this can be your only adult relief. Have a great weekend!
I tag Maria-Paula, Suzanne, Heidi (so she has another reason to start a blog!), Marissa, Missy, Desiree & Rebecca. You're up!

Hey!
We are really looking forward to you guys coming to NLR, too! It's so fun to know that Taylor will be here by then! Even though I'm really anxious to meet her, I'm still feeling good and can't complain about that! Can't wait to see you guys!
Jan
